The dummies of AK Gundog Accessories are the best I have tried for some time. Good quality canvas, well balanced and produced with durability in mind. The dogs love picking them and the dummies encourage a good ‘hold’. It is fabulous to become part of the brand ambassador team and hopefully I can contribute to further great product developments.

I have owned gundogs for more than 25years and currently share home with three Working Golden Retrievers that are all trained to competitive standard.

Following 18months of studying and completing two level 3 certificates in canine studies, and canine training and behaviour I changed my career to become a professional dog training instructor in 2019 and am now part of the group of Accredited Pet Gundog Instructors (APGI).

Gundogs are popular as pets and most of my client’s dogs live in the house yet they still go out during the season to accompany their owners in the beating line, at the peg or picking up. Others simply want to give their gundogs breed specific training. I am happy to assist any gundog owner and run classes from puppy to advanced, including preparing dogs for the field and working tests.

Training takes place on my own grounds in rural Somerset not far from the city of Bath. It is an undulated area with a mix of woodland, open fields, retrieving lanes, hunting areas and jumps.
