Maplecrest Gundogs Charlotte Brown is based in North Yorkshire where she has been working her dogs and training clients for the last 15 years. The shooting season here is a busy time, picking up, training and trailing her Labradors. Summer months are spent competing in working tests as well as running a Gundog Clinic at Living Heritage’s Game Fairs around the country and doing gundog demos. As well as the stitching and shape looking as good as new after nearly two years of regular use, the designs are also fantastic. As I am out training most days, I can be carrying a lot of weight around all day, so I tend to mostly use their lighter weight dummies, but the throwing string and toggle mean they can still be thrown a fair distance. Incorporating white PVC into the dummies I use for training young dogs, means they are easy to see and remain white, even on the muddiest days.
